Responsibilities:
  • Reporting Line Reports directly to Internal Audit Manager in performing Group of IT audit activities which mainly covers infrastructure, hardware/ software application & maintenance, physical access & application access.
  • Responsible for planning and conducting risk based IT audits for the group. From time to time to facilitate understanding of the business in the Group, participate as team member in carrying out business audits when required. Execution of fieldwork to ensure adequate and proper testing and evaluation of internal controls that mitigate key business risks identified.
  • Ensure timely drafting of the audit issues and recommendations.
  • Conduct exit meeting and presentation of IT audit findings and recommendations to management.
  • Maintain proper filing and records for all audit engagements in line with Internal Audit Department’s requirement.
  • Responsible for monitoring the follow up of IT audit findings to ensure identified control issues are properly and timely remediated by auditees.


Requirements:
  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in IT audit and/or IT operations.
  • Experience in CAATs, preferably ACL. Experience in SAP.
  • Good knowledge of IT Governance Framework such as COBIT and/or relevant IT standards
  • Good analytical skill (able to analyze data information gathered) and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with ability to articulate audit issues/ findings clearly.
  • Well verse in the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate independence and objectivity on all engagements/projects.
  • Proactive, result oriented, team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Willing to travel within and outside Malaysia. Travelling will be approximately 30%
