Facilities Management Executive

Job Description
Job Responsibilities

  • One of the primary contact for all facility related issues. 
  • Oversee facility refurbishment and office renovations 
  • Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers 
  • Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving 
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers, manage contractor and vendor relationships 
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met 
  • Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met, check completed work by contractors and vendors 
  • Verify payment and invoicing to match the contract pricing 
  • Coordinate intra-office moves 
  • Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants 
  • Monitor expenses and payments, develop and implement cost reduction initiatives 
  • Advise on and monitor energy efficiency 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes 
  • Assure security of the facility 
  • Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures

  • Possess good hands-on experience in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or equivalent 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in facilities management, project coordination, or construction management. 
  • Working knowledge of procurement and contracts 
  • Solid MS Word and MS Excel experience 
  • Good communication and negotiation skills 
  • Good planning and organizational skills 
  • Possess good problem analysis skills and able to make decisions 
  • A ‘can do’ attitude in facing challenges and problem solving. 
  • Customer service orientation and team player 
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems would be preferred.

  • We will pay a competitive salary according to qualifications. 
  • We work a five day week.
