Job Description

• To provide remote and phone support to end users for Windows XP/7/8 configuration and basic troubleshooting in standard printers;

• To assist in email server, knowledge in Exchange Server Environment will be an added advantage;

• To handle ticket escalation, severity categorization and support coordination between users and engineers;

• To assist in handling email and telephone incidents and requests. 

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent disciplines from a reputable institution.

• Knowledge in Windows XP/7/8 configuration and basic troubleshooting;

• Knowledge or skills in DNS & DHCP, TCP/IP protocol, Web Services (IIS), Firewall and Network Protocols;

• Certified in ITIL Foundation will be an added advantage;

• Good communication and customer service skill, and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment;

• Must be able to work shifts and be alert with phone calls;

• Operating System: Windows XP, VISTA, Windows 7

• Security Application : Firewall, Antivirus

• Business Application : Microsoft Office, Outlook

• Network : Basic Networking Technologies (TCP/IP/Ethernet)

• Hardware : PC, Notebook, Printer and Mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone)

• Prior experience in desktop support will be an added advantage.

• Fast Learner, self starter and able to work with minimum supervision.

• Resourceful, independent and result oriented.

• Strong skills in time management, planning and organizing.

• Analytical and creative problem solving.

• Have good team work spirit.
