Position: Social Innovation Business Sales Director
Candidate should have at least 15+ years of relevant IT sales experience and specializing in Malaysia Government sector projects.
Works in a System Integrator or Business Consulting area.
Work across all solutions sets being offered in Smart City technology.
Extensive years of successful sales of complex propositions (hardware, software, services mix, IT/ITES)
Excellent understanding of the Digital/IoT marketplace, players, and trends. This will be all about selling at C-level of full IoT platform and integrated solution.
Highly entrepreneurial self-starter with experience of setting strategy and working within a high growth and fast-changing business
Ability to define own business plan and sales strategy while playing a key part in senior management decision-making on a global level.
Excellent business development skills with consulting experience or in developing industry solutions; domain experience / expertise in manufacturing [auto/metals/pharma/etc.], Energy or government segments; connects at executive level are critical.
MBA or relevant with an excellent record.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Director of Business Development (DBD) will be primarily responsible pairing our consulting and solutions to the needs of prospective business clients. The DBD would prioritize and strategize pursuits, manage complex sales cycles, partner as required, map consulting and solutions to business scenarios at the executive level, and drive revenue.
The position requires carrying an executive presence, while articulating how HCC consulting and solutions can help address client pain points and drive positive business outcomes.
Identifies right leads and drive pre-tender account penetrations
Qualifies leads and convert leads to real opportunities
Drives IOT (Internet of Things) business in Malaysia. Responsible for overall IoT Revenue and margin in Malaysia
Actively identify Digital opportunities and engage customers
Understanding of complex, enterprise-level, systems integration environments that involve multiple IoT/IIoT technology areas
Detailed knowledge and/or working experience in Digital and Internet-of-Things solutions with products and services integration as well as various vendors providing business systems and application software
Internal and external coordination with teammates and customers for solution workshops and proposals
Develops and deliver responses to customer and prospect inquiries, including RFPs, RFIs, and initial solution discussions
Contract negotiation, agreement establishment and to continuously support customer relationship.
