An International MNC in the manufacturing industry operating in more than 100 countries is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.

about the job
  • Consolidate and analyse financial statements/data and report financial performance by comparing actual results, financial KPIs and ratios with past data, forecasts and projections.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization/group and recommends cost management measures to improve financial performance.
  • Validation of information / input in the monthly reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
  • Projects evaluations and participate in ad-hoc process standardization projects in group reporting function.
  • Assist in Group budget and forecast preparation.
  • Coordinate with finance members and/or other internal/external stakeholders to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Perform analytical review of consolidated financial statements which includes profit & loss, balance sheet and trend analysis
  • Systems and automation – increase productivity by developing automated excel/system-based processes/models, coordinating information or data requirements and gaining expertise in Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence (BI) and other related tools, systems and platforms that would be useful for the incumbent’s role.
  • Research and prepare report for variance analysis and explanations.

skills & experience required
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional qualification in CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • 6 - 8 years working experience with 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Hands-on person with strong understanding of accounting principles and, research & financial analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting treatment under GST environment
  • 4 years and above with related experience.
  • At least 2 years of audit experience with establish Audit Firms.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, ERP and BI.
  • Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal).
  • Ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance.
