environment in designing system configuration, system installation, documenting and enforcing
Good knowledge in LAN / WAN / TCP / DHCP / IP / ISDN / Digital / Analog PB, trunks and phones.
Understanding of Cisco product, Firewall, Proxy, Telephony system architecture, PSTN, Analog, Digital
and IP communication Concept.
Perform installation, configuration and 2nd level troubleshooting for call/contact centre
application, call manager, LAN and WAN
Good knowledge in reporting tools for WAN, LAN, Network devices, Servers, Telephony systems
and contact centre applications. Monitor on day to day operation time frame.
Manage vendors in implementing UC solutions and video conferencing platform.
Manage local projects and coordination with regional team on new technology rollout
Co-ordinates and leads the design, configuration and implementation changes for new and existing Telecom infrastructures (routers, call managers and network devices) to ensure the delivery of cost effective Telecom services to the business
Actively researches the Network and Telecommunication market, identifying technologies and
products consistent with regional standards that can provide commercial benefit to the organization.
Communication and network services are delivered to all Business Entities to high standards of data quality, data timeliness and security. Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded.
The provision of communication and network services maximizes the level of operational service with minimal disruption to the core business.

Responsible for the implementation of solutions that are scale able and supportable and aligned with global standards and industry best demonstrated practices
Perform troubleshooting of internetworking devices such as Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless LAN and support for complex/business critical problems.
Responsible for the resolution of business critical incidents by providing interim and permanent technical solutions that can be supported and perform root cause analysis.
Resolves and diagnoses incident trends and network capacity to enable the correct capacity planning and capabilities of existing infrastructure, to meet business demand
Ensures implementation changes or network configurations follow the change control process
ensuring all changes are documented and can be supported
Ensure the secure deployment of wired / wireless communication networks (Data, VoIP, VPN and wireless network hardware and systems) in order to provide maximum performance and availability.
Assess and update older networks as needed and in accordance with AXA Affin General Insurance plans, policies and life cycles
Install and configure Local Area Network or Wireless Network such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN's, IPS/IDS, wireless controllers, access points and network management servers to enhance performance.
Assist in the evaluation of vendor proposals with respect to the hardware, communication
protocols, switching methods, access methods and tariffs and in the procurement of software and equipment; recommend equipment for purchase or lease
Participate in vendor management activities associated with the ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement of the companyâs infrastructure and related services
Perform work outside of normal business hours due to business demands, on certain occasions
Good in a teamwork and at organizing, prioritizing and multi-tasking and Self-managing
Follow IT Service Management practices such as incident management, change management
configuration management and etc.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
