Job Description
  • To ensure TCS is pre-qualified in the bidder list with important customers and end users in the applicable market(s).
  • Develop TCS brand awareness within the industry/market TCS operates in.
  • Represent the company in positive professional manner.
  • Sell TCS’s services, spare parts, trainings and Control Systems’ solutions to existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare proposals by studying schematics, specification and related customer documents; consulting with engineers and other professional and technical personnel.
  • Submit proposals to customers and negotiate through technical and commercial clarifications.
  • To provide a quarterly project list of prospect projects for which TCS will target and establish a specific strategy and action items.
  • Provide necessary feedback from submitted quotes in terms of competitors, pricing and delivery time.
  • To generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts, assessing the potential application of company products offering solutions in line with our capabilities that can meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement territory plan by appointing sales agents to maximize exposure and opportunities.
  • Develop new and existing opportunities within the assigned territory, i.e. South East Asia and Middle East.
  • Provide accurate regular forecast information to upper management relative to each opportunity.
  • Forecast sales opportunities in following the TCS’s sales process
  • Manage any and all activities and opportunities in assigned territory within the existing CRM
  • Provide detailed analytical, statistical support and data intelligence from (SFDC).
  • Develop models to evaluate potential and identify the value of next best option or alternative for business growth / development.
  • Create and maintain Strategic Account Management Plans for specific high profile opportunities
  • Clearly demonstrate and articulate to potential customers what the best services, training, solutions, spare parts solution is based  upon their needs.
  • Consistently over-achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Perform as a team player and demonstrate an ability to be flexible and deployable in a rapidly growing company and ever changing marketplace
  • Overnight and occasional weekend travel may be required
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

Qualifications and requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 8 years’ experience Selling, managing Inter-Personal Relationships required.
  • At least 5 years of Technical Sales experience required in Oil and Gas and Power Generation (must have).
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
