In an effort to show support and encourage more mothers to re-join the workforce, Monster.com is excited to announce the launch of #SheMakesItWork campaign to raise greater awareness on the issues women across Southeast Asia face at work. The campaign is backed by a Monster study, which surveyed over 2600 respondents in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The study throws light on the challenges women and working mothers face in the workplace today.
In Malaysia, the biggest reasons given for new mothers quitting their jobs is a lack of flexibility (75%), followed by concerns about poor childcare for their children while they are at work (59%). A further 55% said they have an unsupportive boss and work environment when it comes to balancing home and work life. Click here to view the press release.
