Company Profile

We are representing one of the multinational telecommunications client. They are looking to hire a seasoned, dynamic enterprise Account Manager to take responsibility for Corporate Sales to expand Malaysia market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements.
  • Gain share of wallet/spend across Company’s portfolio of technology solutions; high value network centric design, build and WAN managed services.
  • Manage territory/accounts, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources and working with the virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organizations.
  • Provide accurate and detailed sales forecast of identified and proposed opportunities ensuring sales quota attainment.
  • Customarily and regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services including features, benefits, changes, applications, ability to be customized, and how to effectively distinguish them from competitor offerings and position them to meet customers’ needs.
  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities.

Essential Requirements
  • At least 5 year’s measurable quota carrying experience in a strategic account.
  • Bachelor degree Electrical engineering (Telecommunication), IT, SI Industrial or related major.
  • Good selling experience with Corporate customers.
  • Experience in handling China or Taiwan market. 
  • Strong understanding about Networking, IP (router, switch)/Data Center knowledge or background.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, partnership and influencing capabilities. Including consultative strategic selling experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills in English which allow you to interact with confidence and credibility at all levels with customers, partners and vendors. Mandarin speaking would be added advantage.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, complex, fast-moving and constantly changing sales environments within an extremely competitive market.
  • Practical understanding of virtualization, big-data, security, data storage, private cloud and hyper-converged solutions, as well as the solution’s value when mapped to an account’s business needs.
  • Able to clearly demonstrate executive presence and the ability to engage in business level discussions with C-Suite.
