Job Description
  • Assist in managing Accounts Department. 
  • Prepare monthly accounts, Group financial reporting and statutory financial reporting. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of accounts and Group financial reporting. 
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and analysis of accounts. 
  • Assist in solving accounting related issues. 
  • Assist in tax planning, prepare budget, cash flow forecast and perform financial analysis for Banker and Board of Directors. 
  • Supervise accounts executive / assistants to perform day to day accounting functions and monthly closing of accounts 
  • Maintain a good accounting system and general ledger chart of account. 
  • Ensure documents are filled timely. 
  • Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and internal control procedures. 
  • Liaise with bankers, external auditors and tax agents. 
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in Malaysia (e.g. sales & service tax, company law, tax authority etc) 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards adopted in Malaysia. 
  • Preparation of ad-hoc management reports. 
  • Any other duties that may be required.
