Job Description
Company Profile
We are representing a Japanese based client engaged in the Information Technology IT Solution business. They provide outsourcing services for retail and service companies.

Job Description
  • Attend to all Business As Usual (BAU) support related inquiries and issues 
  • Execute support activities / task to meet agreed customer requirements and service levels 
  • To be escalated from L1 (Helpdesk) agents about the incident/service request via ticketing tool 
  • Communicate with the business user to determine the nature of the problem 
  • Coordinate with the L3 application service provider and lead the resolution and recovery of production incidents 
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities 
  • Walk-through & testing of programs to ensure the quality of deliverables meet the requirements and adhere to define processes
  • Prepare test plan and test environment for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 
  • Support the testing activities, log the test result, rectify the incidents, carry out retest till closure of incidents 
  • Analyze root cause, assess impact and provide solution and recovery 
  • Notify / escalate critical issues or variations to service levels to SDM 
  • Deliver quality outputs based on define processes and take corrective actions when necessary 
  • Identify & escalate risk before they seriously impact the support delivery 
  • Conduct review & to ensure the quality of deliverable 
  • Track the team’s progress and provide update to SDM and assist with regular reporting on support SLAs and KPIs 
  • To participate and feedback in management review meeting 
  • To work closely with Service Management Team, Infrastructure Teams and vendors 
  • To build a good relationship with business users and vendors and coordinate the transition delivery as per business requirement.
Job Requirement
  • A recognized Degree / Diploma or any other equivalent qualification 
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Operation 
  • Experience or understanding of the retail business is mandatory 
  • Ability to work under pressure (especially during incident / crisis management) 
  • Linux OS operation and shell script development skill will be advantage 
  • SQL skill for Oracle Database will be advantage
  • Good communication skills with business users 
  • Good understanding of principles and processes of ITIL processes and discipline and adopting best practices into the current environment 
  • Good incident and problem management skills 
  • Willing to work at Taman Maluri, Cheras
  • MUST willing to work after office hours, weekend and public holiday.
