Application Support Specialist (1 year contract - Tier 1 Bank)

Job Description
  • To resolve complex (L2) problem tickets.
  • Perform monthly trending on the root cause of tickets and provide sound resolutions to eliminate repeat problem tickets.
  • Regularly review the nature of L2 problem tickets with a view to migrate the handling of these tickets to L1 support.
  • Consistently to provide training and coaching to up-skill the iPSS staffs on product and technical knowledge to handle problem tickets of a more complex nature.
  • Effective engagement with Country CTM/TAM for any critical issues.
  • Ensure RCAs are performed for high severity issues.
  • Provide timely workaround solutions for failing issue pattern which requires source code fix.
  • Closely track of Digital Certificate expiry and timely renewal of certificates and implementation
  • Involved in the project reviews and identify the potential gaps in the system design and all the non functional requirements before rollout the system in production environment.
  • Involved in High Severity Incident resolutions.
  • Perform capacity review to ensure the systems still able to cope with the business volume growth.
  • Strongly influences control procedures and processes that exist in relation to the deployment of technology (within the area of specialization)

  • At least 8 - 12 years of experience in production support & development environment
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to interact and communicate well with any stakeholders.
  • Have technical knowledge and able to understand the concepts flow on Contact Center. Experienced and hands on voice and virtual solutions such as Chatbot, Live Chat, Moxtra, Moneythor, KANA email management, any digital banking knowledge and etc.
  • Have technical knowledge and hands on experience on DevOps such as Openshift container platform, Jenkins, bitbucket, Docker NginX, Terraform, cloud, docker, kubernetes, kibana, logstash and etc.
  • Experience in MSSQL, DB2, Oracle DB objects/design such as Stored Procedure, View, Trigger, etc.
