Roles And Responsibility :
• Responsible for understanding business requirements and business processes on the relevant banking applications.
• Demonstrate a high level subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business users and IT teams.
• Perform gap and impact analysis on business requirements versus existing applications or proposed solution.
• Translate business requirements into Functional or Requirement specifications documentation
• Translate business and technical data mapping between two application into System Interface specifications
• Coordinate with application vendor to discuss requirements and assess the proposed solutions.
• Provide accurate high level estimates from a cost and timeline perspective of a project.
• Able to collate other high level estimates from different teams both internal and externals suppliers.
• Organize and facilitate meeting or workshop to collect information, select solution or resolve issues or concerns.
• Work with project managers and development team to specify work packages and deliverable timeline.
• Recommend configuration and operational changes to meet business requirements.
• Provide input on master test plan and detailed test cases
• Adapt on bank’s internal policies and procedures (e.g. SDLC, Change Management and Project Management framework).
• Conduct System Integration Testing and able to assess the proper severity and priority.
• Provide support during UAT and investigate and resolve issues if necessary.
• Perform Security Risk assessment in the application and take action on the outstanding risk items.
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity and provide highlight report on a weekly basis or as per need basis.
• Provide timesheet summary reports to line manager on a monthly basis.
• Review implementation instruction and run book plan.
• Provide knowledge transfer or training both technical and functional
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge in regulatory reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge on data warehouse systems.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Business analyst in banking projects.
• Data mapping experience particularly in systems integration project.
• Knowledge on business objects tools. (ETL and Reports).
• Thorough understanding of a full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• SQL knowledge is must.
• Understanding of Compliance and Regulatory requirements of IT within a financial institution.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in MAS Regulatory Reporting
• Experience in HKMA Regulatory Reporting
• Experience in STB/Agile Reporter Regulatory Reporting system
• Experience with vendor implementation and management
