Job Description
  • Responsible for the Company’s Solar sales-related activities including developing new business, growth strategies and opportunities in the market and maximize long term profitable volume growth. 
  • Responsible for layout and design of solar projects involving calculation of load curves, solar yields and necessary capacities. 
  • Responsible for the issuance of bill of material according to project layout. 
  • Planning of assembly capacities. 
  • Supervision of assembly and commissioning. 
  • Ensure compliance to legal aspects involving certifications and standards. 
  • Understanding of the customers’ needs and demonstrate the value of BD proposition. 
  • Realize sales budget (target) both in volume, margin and market share. 
  • Take part in trade shows, presentations and other relevant marketing projects. 
  • Recommend and implement detailed annual sales operating plans and preparation of sales performance reports for strategic analysis and review on a monthly or quarterly basis. 
  • Coach and manage the local sales and sales support team to build accurate Solar PV systems and roof layouts and deliver excellent service to the customers. 

Requirements 
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ South East Asia experience in the field of hybrid or solar projects. 
  • Excellent business acumen, networking and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proactive, able to work independently and able to adapt to a matrix reporting environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with evidence of building, retaining and motivating a high performance sales team. 
  • Able to travel within the Asia region. 
  • Preference would be given to qualified project engineer or project manager with the relevant experience.
