Job Description
Role Purpose

We need a dedicated resource to develop a full communication and marketing strategy with the respective country teams that will successfully drive user adoption globally for the Critical Voice Project.

Critical Voice Project Communication Strategy, Rollout Strategy and Execution

• Create or develop service value proposition in partnership with the Service Owner

• Develop the Critical Voice branding and overarching story to drive successful user adoption

• Develop, lead and execute a targeted Critical Voice communications strategy tailored to each country’s specific needs.

• Define and execute a stakeholder engagement plan to support the needs of the programme.

• Author and maintain communication strategy and rollout management plan documentation.

• Documenting and publishing consulted communications plan using project artefacts, own expertise, and the Bank’s policy as a basis.

• Report on communication and user engagement progress as well as on agreed key performance indicators.

• Maintain and publish communication and rollout progress reports.

• Maintain overall program release and deployment schedules with noted considerations.

• Define tolerances within the context of each component communication.

• Plan, design and implement a ‘communication library’ that can be reused for subsequent phases/stages of the Critical Voice program.

Quality Control and Quality Assurance

• Provide QC and QA for of each project’s communication plans

• Share experience with existing teams to improve communication strategy and rollout policy and procedures.

• Perform systematic independent reviews and assurance reviews across the programme

Communication Strategy, Rollout Expertise and Continuous Improvement

• Provide expertise and recommendation to engage users and communicate benefits where possible.

• Experience in communication strategy design and implementation across multiyear programs.

• Identify cross project issues and capture learning and best practices for future efforts.

• Promote a culture of innovation.

• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement within the role, processes, team, and portfolio.

• Keep up to date of latest communication and change management methodologies and best practices.

• Influence stakeholders to ensure successful management of programmes and projects.

• Educate stakeholders to improve project and portfolio effectiveness.

• Experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Products an advantage.

• Anticipate future user engagement and communication needs of the programme based on the defined program vision.

• Effectively works with global on and offshore teams.

• Can present and effectively advocate for the program to C-level stakeholders.

Flexibility and Programme Ambiguity

• Able to travel within region regularly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors in Media / Communications or equivalent.

• Experience in large organizations with teams that are geographically dispersed and with virtual teams in a complex, matrix organization.

• More than 5 years of program communication strategy and rollout experience.

• More than 10 years of total project communication experience.

• Knows what quality looks like and is willing to enforce it within Standard Chartered.

• Excellent communications and presentation skills with ability to adjust communication styles depending on type of target audience.

• Exceptional writing skills that engage and excite employees.

• Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior management – CIOs, COOs, senior business staff, project managers, test managers, testing staff.
