About Our Client
We are representing a well-established Japanese multinational consumer and commersial electronics manufacturing company.

  • Responsible for the overall business of Company Products in Malaysia.
  • Initiate and develop business strategies and plans through working closely with appointer distributor to increase the market share.
  • Conceptualise, plan and execute marketing and sales promotion activities in collaboration with distributor/dealers (e.g. end-user promotions, salesmen incentive, etc.)
  • Explore opportunities to venture into government and private institutions or organizations to introduce Company products through new initiatives (e.g. trade shows, workshops, seminars, etc.)
  • Manage distributor and builds positive relationships with key dealers and grow the business.
  • Harmonised communication between Company, Distributor and Partners to avoid conflicts.
  • Monitor and Close Follow up on Projects to assure Projects information are up to date on market situation.
  • Visitation to distributors, dealers & partners regularly to collect market intelligence through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Identify New End-User and Regular Visitation and Engagement to create future Potential Sales Opportunity.
  • Analyse and submit PSI monthly report from distributor and other ad-hoc reports to Singapore management and Japan Headquarters.
  • Ensures prompt follow through on projects and key deliverables to meet Purchase, Sales & Inventory (PSI) targets.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of projects and contributions to overall business strategy.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks from local MD and Singapore regional headquarters.
  • Cross-Reporting to Local MD & Singapore HOD

  • Degree/Diploma in business, Sales or Marketing or related disciplines.
  • At least 2-3 years relevant Sales & Marketing experience at strategic/country level.
  • Experienced in projector business or IT/Electronics/Broadcast Products is preferred. Candidates from related business solutions or other FMCG products may also be considered.
  • Good experience in distributor and dealer management.
  • Familiar with Government and B2B sales channels and mechanism.
  • Experience in B2B Project Management.
  • Good knowledge of distribution process including import/customs procedures, distribution channel, government tender regulations, etc.
  • Prior experience in planning and executing sales & marketing activities with distributors preferred.
  • Prior experience or exposure working with foreign countries/companies and suppliers will be advantageous.
