Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Channel Manager ISV. You will be responsible for identifying, executing, and managing partnerships with developer/independent software vendors (ISV) in Malaysia. As a Channel Manager ISV, you will work closely with the marketing, channel sales teams and territory sales teams to Increase ISV Partner Commitment and competitive advantage for Honeywell products. In addition, you will be responsible for driving both innovation and customer value through the development of partnerships in Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop close, credible relationships with assigned ISV partners
  • Ensure retention and recruitment of ISV partnerships to expand market reach
  • Manage the ongoing ISV program development to ensure competitive advantage
  • Maximize ISV commitment to Honeywell, reflected by executed partnership agreements and ISV project referrals
  • Drive ISV adoption of Honeywell NPI product through complementary ISV technology solutions
  • Drive ISV and Honeywell partner certifications to ensure ISV commitment in compliance with certification standards
  • Consult with ISV partners to understand current and future technology, product, and service needs, and proactively communicate that information to the Honeywell Product Marketing and Product Management Teams

  • Measure and report on ISV program performance and ISV Partnerships to the Business Development Manager (BDM), ISV ASEAN
  • Ensuring Voice of Customer (VOC) excellence from the ISV partners and program participants as required for the continuous cycle of program improvement
  • Work closely with channel sales teams and Honeywell partner ecosystem to understand the dynamics of each ISV's reseller and use that information to drive enhancements to the partnership with the ISV
  • Work closely with BDM ISV ASEAN to align and implement ISV strategy in Malaysia

Geographical Coverage: Malaysia

Traveling Requirement: Yes (20% of the time)

Location: Base in Honeywell Bangsar South, Malaysia

Direct Manager: Country Manager, Productivity Product

Matrix Manager: BDM, Software Solution ASEAN​ 

You Must Have 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in sales, business development, or ISV, Alliances or Channel Management 


We Value 
  • Experience with Partner Alliances or ISV Management is strongly desired
  • Mastery of technology including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, presentation/speaking and organizational skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to thrive in competitive and challenging environment in complex matrix organization
  • A team player who is able to prioritize work independently, time management skills
  • Ability to think critically and analyze data and write reports
  • High level of integrity demonstrated
