Honeywell International is a diversified technology and manufacturing leader of aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; power generation systems; specialty chemicals; fibers; plastics and advanced materials.

The position is Commercial Excellence Analyst for our Honeywell Industrial Safety (HIS) business, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will report to Commercial Excellence Leader, SPS ASEAN/ ANZ.

This role supports the leadership with analysis and insights that enable the business to stay focus in driving growth and delivering commitments. Acting as a journalist for the business, CE Analyst works with available data across multiple platforms to create and detail the story of the business performance, highlighting successes and challenges that exist, while working to create and execute improvements and solutions. CE Analyst works in close partnership with Sales Leaders across the region and the customer delivery team to achieve the desired outcome. While the role requires a strong data crunching capability, it is crucial that the CE Analyst is commercially savvy in bringing the data to life with the stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business performance management processes in close collaboration with Sales Leaders and other stakeholders, including but not limited to weekly forecast and pipeline forums
  • Develop and execute standard reports for key stakeholders at business, LOB, region and customer level
  • Utilise a variety of data sources to analyse and evaluate relevant business situations/ trends to develop initiatives to support opportunity qualification and increase pipeline
  • Collaborate with business leaders and CE Lead to identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities
  • Build business processes to support business initiatives and drive the processes effectively with clear measures
  • Proactively review with sales leaders and individuals to improve information accuracy in SFDC accounts, pipeline and targeting
  • Work closely with sales leaders and marketing to measure and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Identify and communicate skill gaps in the sales teams to the Commercial Excellence leader.
  • Assist in the deployment of new global processes and concepts


Key attributes of successful candidates will include:

Work Experience
  • 5 – 8 years relevant business/sales analytics background with a project portfolio that provides evidence of capabilities and tool knowledge
  • Relevant experience in establishing the business process and being able to effectively run the process with relevant KPIs that track progress and outcomes
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization, across geographies
  • Preferably with working knowledge in Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), Google Analytics and salesforce.com
  • Experience in work with or as field sales force

Qualifications:
  • Relevant Degree that provides the basis for strong Data Analytics
  • Knowledge of the common data toolkits for extraction, cleaning, transformation, EDA, visualization, and communication
