The Employer

Our client provides a powerful CRM platform that is specifically designed for small and medium businesses. The tool helps streamline various administrative tasks such as reminders, daily emailing, customer management processes and other day-to-day mundane tasks, that take up a considerable amount of an employee's time.

The Job

As a DevOps Lead you will be providing technical leadership for every aspect of the software and participating in design control activities like - analyzing, documenting, reviewing and revising software requirements and specifications. You will lead an engineering team of at least 5 developers and help them increase productivity using continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Preparing the life cycle for different projects inclusive of research, evaluation, design, development and testing.
  • Establishing and ensuring adherence to software development standards and processes along with best practices for the delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
  • Supervising architecture and leading efforts to develop a technical roadmap for all projects.
  • Working closely with project management and service delivery management to monitor, evaluate and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
  • Exercising independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning, tracking project progress and reporting to senior management/stakeholders.
  • Involving in strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives with leadership chain, team and customers.
The Profile
  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field from a top tier college / university and have at least 6 years experience, ideally within a DevOps role.
  • You are proficient in Java, .NET, scripting and have knowledge on Spring, Hibernate, JQuery and Angular.
  • You are knowledgeable on SDLC, Continuous Integration/Delivery and related automation tool-sets e.g. SVN, Git, Jenkins, JUnit/NUnit, Selenium.
  • You have experience with software development tools and standards e.g. coding conventions, best practices, design patterns as well as development methodologies e.g. waterfall, iterative, agile etc.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams.
