Job Description

In this position, the candidate will be involved in the definition, development and validation of Design For Test and Manufacturability features and solutions to support post-silicon manufacturing test, debug, and characterization for leading edge Wireless Communications devices and lead CWT execution in the DFT domain.

The key functions for this role include:  

  • Key player in defining test strategy and DFT structures, test algorithms and techniques.
  • Working with Design teams to comprehend the post-silicon usage models, test time/fault coverage/data collection goals, and tester capabilities and limitations.
  • Working with IP and integration design teams to understand the design and functional-mode behaviors of the logic and circuits.
  • Partnering with design team to architect and define DFT features, methodologies and flows with post-silicon requirements and constraints, leverage BKMs and lessons learned from past Intel products.
  • Performing RTL and schematic implementation and pre-silicon validation and debug of these DFT features.
  • Leading collaborative initiatives on implementing DFT/Test in designs and synthesis, generating test patterns using industry standard tools, analyzing and driving improvements for test coverage, and running and debugging pre-silicon simulation.
  • Performing diagnosis of test patterns on silicon and optimizing test time.
  • Driving silicon bring up of DFT content and coverage.
  • The candidate must be able to interact effectively with cross functional design engineers/leads as well as communicate effectively with management and peers. In addition, be self-motivated with the initiative to seek constant improvements in the DFT methodologies.
  • The candidate must also possess strong initiative, analytical/problem solving skills, team working skills, ability to multitask and be able to work within a diverse team environment.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or other related field of study.

  • More than 7 years of experience in DFT field.

  • Strong knowledge in DFT concepts, architecture, methodologies, tools and flows.

  • Strong Si debug skills, ATE requirements and understanding of High Volume Manufacturing test requirements and failures mechanisms in silicon production.

  • Hands on experience in RTL implementation, IP integration, RTL releases meeting the quality checks, simulations.

  • Should have strong scripting/coding skills, Unix user expertise, bug filing systems, etc.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills

  • Great team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Very good logical thinking, ability to prioritize work and multi-tasking
