Job Description

• We are looking for IT Solutions Sales Senior/Manager to join our growing SEA Sales & Solutions team to lead the Sales of new solutions and to address industry challenges and support the acquisition and delivery of these new solutions in the market.

• We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong insight into the core business challenges faced by the Manufacturing industry combined with hands on experience. The candidate will have a passion for introducing executable solutions to deliver sustainable benefits for our clients with emerging technologies like Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning that build on our established expertise in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Package Implementations, and Software Development. The individual must be comfortable working as part of a diverse and geographically distributed team.

• Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities.

• Provides a professional and disciplined approach

• Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development, prospecting and qualification through to contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.

• Leverages the sales channels to maximize revenue growth and increase market share in assigned territory.

• Develops, maintains and enhances customer relationships over the longer term.

• Work cohesively with business partners

• Coverage of all relevant stakeholders influencing, recommending or deciding on a deal, from working level to management level to C-level

• Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

• As part of the sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

• Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

• Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills.

Qualifications, which will make you a champion:

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience including a minimum of 5 years IT sales experience

• Relevant experience in managing large enterprise account is desirable.

• Ability to accurately forecast, manage sales expectations (internal and external).

• Successful sales track record

• Business development, prospecting and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.

• Relevant experience as the focal point for clients / partners for all sales and related issues.

• Having conversation capabilities in English and Chinese/Filipino/Malay/Bahasa Malay would be highly advantageous

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets in defined area.

• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence.

• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by collaborating with them and understanding their needs.

• Provision of insight into manufacturing industry trends, priorities, challenges and market opportunity.

• Demonstrate Industry Expertise to engage with clients

• Solution selling for areas for potential investment and identifying how Hitachi products/services bring value to clients in the sector

• Generation of sales collateral along with Business Development team for target clients

• Understanding of the competitive landscape

• Commercial clarification, negotiation and provide quotation to customer.

• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

• Develop and manage sales pipeline to achieve sales target

Ideal expertise that will make you a champion:

• Ability to leverage Manufacturing or Automotive (Parts and OEM) or Pharma industry network to generate opportunities

• Knowledge on IT Solutions and IoT/BigData would be an ideal preference

• Having prior experience in Solution Sales or BigData or Analytics or Manufacturing Automation would be highly preferred

Key Attributes for this role:

• This need requires a person who knows the Malaysia Market and would prefer a Malaysian national.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or other related fields would be an advantage

• 5+ years of experience in Sale - IoT Enterprise sales to global/ big data Analytic or Smart Manufacturing customers, IT service or solution business development

• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

• Positive, Flexible, Able to work independently and as a team and having good planning skills is highly preferred.

• Good analytical and strong communication skill (presentation, negotiation in Thai and English), can quickly understand, analyze and communicate insights.

• Having prior experience in Manufacturing/BigData/Analytics/Smart Manufacturing/IT Solutions Sales is highly preferred

• We are open to invite Sales Champions having prior experience in IT Solutions Sales and inclined towards a shift into Manufacturing/BigData/Analytics/Smart Manufacturing
