Job Description
  • Undertake market research of the rubber products industry to identify market opportunities and challenges. 
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and management of market research projects. Work closely with research agencies to ensure high-quality output delivered in timely manner. 
  • Provide support in all research activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information including dissemination of research findings, statistics and market information to stakeholders. 
  • Compile, tabulate and analyze data and statistics from market and economic reports, related industry publications and other sources to generate into market insight and intelligence. 
  • Create and maintain databases on rubber product manufacturers

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics or in related fields; 
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience; 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; 
  • Responsible, organised and have a positive mind-set
  • Good analytical skill, meticulous and has strong desire to do market research; 
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skill; 
  • Matured, committed, self-motivated and responsible with good working attitude; 
  • Have team-oriented mind-set
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office.

The Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) was incorporated on 14 April 2000 under the Companies Act 1965 as a company limited by guarantee under the Ministry of Primary Industries. MREPC is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Minister of Primary Industries. MREPC is tasked with undertaking market promotion of quality Malaysian rubber products in world markets, and in particular, to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
