Description:

Head of Finance and Administration position:

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all day-to-day banking, finance, human resource and accounting activities
  • Oversee and monitor all financial, accounting and taxation matters to ensure compliance and consistent application of accounting regulations and accepted financial principles
  • Responsible for financial planning, preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flows projections
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly/yearly financial and management reports with variance analysis
  • Hands-on with all accounting and finance tasks including bookkeeping and full sets of accounts
  • Oversee and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records
  • Responsible for tax planning, corporate tax estimation, withholding tax and SST submission along with compilation of tax schedules
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties including bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretary on all statutory and tax requirements compliances
  • Assist with any other tasks as and when assigned by the management


Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent (Eg. ACCA,CIMA,CPA). MIA member is preferred
  • At least 7 years working experience in the related field is required for this position with preferably at least 3 years in audit experience
  • Exposure in financial and management accounting
  • Budgeting & consolidation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Preferably managerial experience specializing in finance general/cost accounting or equivalent
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur City
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or have permanent residency in Malaysia
  • Able to handle full set of accounts through to balance sheet stage
  • Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficient and familiar in the use of general accounting software such as SQL
  • Mature, multi-tasking, committed, positive work attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive, analytical and a team player
  • Computer literate and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is a must

The Salary package :range between RM6K-RM9K (depends on experience and last drawn)
Experience :preferably over 7 years
