Responsibilities

External Reporting
  • Preparation of financial statements - annual final, interim and abridged financial statements - management of statutory audit deadlines and auditors request list - Review of other statutory submissions, eg. PIDM
  • Taxation - Collation of information for, and review of, annual tax submission - Preparation of tax forecast - Monthly computation of tax and deferred tax - Annual update of transfer pricing document
  • BNM report on intercompany charges.


Internal Management Reporting
  • Preparation of board papers
  • Preparation of quarterly report and presentation deck of regional results.
  • Analysis of management expenses, including the preparation and update of management expenses allocation by class & business units
  • Management & reporting of non-reinsurance related party transactions.
  • Balance sheet review


Others
  • Assist in IFRS17 - collation of financial reporting data
  • Any other tasks relating to financial reporting


Requirement

Qualifications
1. Degree in Accounting, ACCA or other professional accounting degree

Work Experience
1. Preferably with 5-8 years experience in financial / management reporting in general insurance.
2. Candidates with experience in public accounting firms are encouraged to apply.
