Manage the overall loans’ financial reporting for Maybank and Maybank Group so as to ensure it is in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards ("MFRSs"), rules and regulations from Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM").
Manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for loans’ financial reporting of Maybank and Maybank Group within deadlines.
Manage timely preparation of loans analysis for Maybank and Maybank Group (on loan-related) for reporting to GCFO, PCEO, Audit Committee of the Board and Board of Directors.
Equip with up-to-date technical knowledge on MFRSs, rules and regulations from BNM which have financial implication on loans reporting and advise the financial implications to relevant internal stakeholders on a timely basis.
Work together with other sectors such as Group Corporate Remedial, Corporate Banking, Business Banking/ SME and International Banking in improving existing loans data collection process for MFRS 9 reporting.
Liaise closely with auditors and BNM on loans financial reporting matters.
Assist foreign subsidiaries and overseas units in interpreting and implementing new accounting standards, rules and regulations from their local regulatory bodies which have financial implication on loans reporting.
Level of Education: Degree in Accountancy; member to Malaysian Institute of Accountants and member to any professional accounting body such as ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, etc.
Years of Experience: Minimum six (6) years working experience and at least one (1) year in managerial role. Familiar with financial reporting for loans product is an added advantage.
Discipline/Related Field: Banking industry
Strong technical knowledge in MFRSs, rules and regulations from BNM
