Our client, a large Chinese Internet technology company (owner of multiple popular content platforms) is expanding their operation into SEA and is now seeking a Head of Content Policy (General Manager level) to support their growth plan.

The role reports to the Head of Content Policy in China HQ and the responsibilities of the role include:
Manage local team by setting and achieving goals according to the company’s business strategy in SEA
Execute and optimize content moderation policies, participate in the optimization of operation systems
Ensure local business activities comply with the local content policy
Continue to improve the performance of local team
Responsible for maintain and outreach local government relationship
Develop and improve working procedures and regulations for the local site
7+ years’ work experience in media or information technology industry with solid knowledge of online content policy, safety and user experience
Bachelor degree or above in communication or related major is preferred
Fluent in both English and Mandarin is required due to constant communication with Chinese speaking counterpart in HQ
Knowledge in other local language is a plus
Proven success in developing and managing a large team of more than 50 pax
Proficient in strategy planning and execution
Good business sense with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skill

Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
