JOB BRIEF
The Senior Business Analyst strengthens the capabilities of the business delivery team
with the essential skillsets in business process analysis and project management. In
order to fit the company’s management strategic objectives, the Senior Business
Analyst helps the business delivery team to research and develop the best practices of
project handling, documentation controlling and other relevant tasks. The Senior
Business Analyst must possess excellent communication and analytical skills to assist
customers in gathering and resolving their business problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ï‚· Act as a bridge or liaison between functional and technical groups by aligning
business needs with IT capabilities.
ï‚· Responsible for overall project direction, coordination, execution, control and
completion of specific projects to ensure consistency with company strategies,
commitments and goals.
ï‚· Define overall project tasks and lead the process of planning and implementation
of projects in terms of resource management and timelines.
ï‚· Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals and deliverables, and communicate
with relevant parties for common understanding.
ï‚· Coordinate project staff or respective team members (internal and/or external
parties), prioritize work and drive milestones.
ï‚· Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
ï‚· Identify, document and manage business requirements, gap analysis and
specifications. This involves the ability to understand an organization‘s business
process flow through interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process
descriptions, used cases, scenarios, and instruction manuals.
ï‚· Maintain necessary documents to facilitate the interaction between users and
system.

ï‚· Coordinate with customers and technical team to facilitate communication between both parties.
ï‚· Conduct debriefing with respective technical team whenever there is an update from customers.
ï‚· Conduct and organize functional/technical gap analysis with the team.
ï‚· Prepare test scripts/test plans/test cases and perform system testing/UAT on deliveries.
ï‚· Any other duties as may be assigned or required by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
Relevant Experience
ï‚· Minimum 4 years of experience in project implementation of IT software, with IT knowledge and the capabilities of understanding IT concepts in terms of application tier and database tier.
ï‚· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager or in relevant fields.
Skills and Knowledge
ï‚· Able to handle multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
 Possess good analytical and problem solving skills, including a thorough understanding of customers’ business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
ï‚· Possess project management and business analysis skills.
ï‚· Possess strong organization and analytical skills.
ï‚· Exposures to work on eco-systems environment projects
ï‚· Able to communicate with different audiences and at all levels of the company.
