Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for over-all direction and control of all HR services for the local or country operations
  • Provides management control over all HR areas such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee services with special emphasis on labor and industrial relations
  • Leads, motivates and develops the HR transactional teams ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the business, HR processes and employment legislation and have substantial expertise to deliver a first class service to the business
  • Fosters harmonious relationships with the business by working closely with the HR Business partners and their teams in reporting on the performance of the HR transactional team, reviewing service provision, quality and opportunities for enhancements
  • Develops and implements a clear, simple and systematic approach to setting, measuring and enforcing performance targets by putting in place a practical, fair and transparent process of rewarding high performance and addressing low performance
  • Develops and build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization.
  • Conduct regular auditing of HR processes and functionalities
  • Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach
  • Instills a strong and unified customer-focused culture which values and rewards performance
Job Requirement:
  • An experienced HR professional with a proven track record in an organization of comparable and complexity who will relish playing a key role in bringing about necessary change and development
  • An effective leader and team player with strong interpersonal skills, able and willing to play a strategic role as well as handling the necessary details of the various HR functions.
  • Strong communicator
  • Knowledge of Labor Law and international standards
  • Baccalaureate degree program from a college or university of recognized standing with major course in human resources, public relations, public administration, journalism, communication or related field
  • 7-10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Willing to be based in Cebu/Central Luzon and travel inland and abroad
