Responsible for the entire spectrum of HR operational roles and responsibilities at the head office in KL and manufacturing plants in Malaysia.
Responsible for talent acquisition, development, engagement and deployment.
Manage all HR operational matters in alignment with in country, regional and global guidelines and policies.
Direct and Assist in the recruitment and appointment of new staff, which includes short-listing candidates, conducting interviews and preparing appointment letters.
Assist and Execute Compensation and Benefits Policies and Programs, such as development of SEA C&B policies (in co-ordination with regional HR and local regulations)
Partner and Assist in building strong employee relations: a. Handle company communication program and employee relationship program. b. Instill company philosophy and values and manage rules of conduct c. Develops and ensure that all HR policies are accepted and applied by all departments d. Administers all human resources policies e. Provides and administers a range of personnel services to cater to the appropriate needs and well-being of employees and comply with government regulations f. Manages disciplinary actions
Prepares monthly HR reports and provide statistical analysis.
Identifies issues of concerns relating to HR through regular open communication sessions, exit interviews and highlight key concerns to the management.
Be the point of support for all HR needs of of all entities in Malaysia taking an active role to ensure the recruitment needs are met and developing initiatives to improve employee morale and retention. Provide needed coaching and counsel as appropriate to line managers and employees.
Backup for the SEA HR Manager in her absence
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A University education (background in related human resource and business communication is preferable)
At least 8 years experience with five (5) years of progressive HR experience in multinational companies
Experience in working with regulatory groups including the labor ministry including familiarity with government labor regulations and laws and an active network in the field would be a strong plus
Demonstrated knowledge of human resource skills and systems
Sound administrative and management skills
Strong communication skills, including written and spoken English and Chinese or Bahasa.

Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
