Responsible for delivering your Hyperion EPM projects to time, quality and budget using defined Hitachi Consulting or industry standard project management methods, processes and tools. Specifically:
Perform end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, coding, testing, documentation, etc.
Identify and assess technical situations, propose solutions to address requirements
Constant communication with on-site team and status meeting updates
Experienced in requirement gathering and understanding the solution feasibility
Have participated in project development activities (e.g. Creating EPMA Hyperion Planning Application, Loading of Master Data and Transaction data into Planning Cubes)
Expertise in creation of Hyperion Planning Web Forms, Task Lists, Smart Lists.
Expertise in creation of Business Rules/Calculation scripts and MaxL scripts with in-depth knowledge of Essbase (Highly desired).
Expertise in design data flow between Hyperion Planning application and plan types using EPMA Sync/Partitions
Expertise in optimizing calculations, database settings and cache settings
Tuning of cubes sparse/dense configuration, block density and compression, outline structure strategies, batch update streamlining, load optimization (load rules and transformation), and calc script optimization is required.
Expertise in Workflow - Process Management to control the budgeting process
Good Smart View and Excel knowledge. Ability to write macros and VB scripts will be an added advantage
Design/Modify Hyperion Financial Reports
Experience in Creating Users and Groups with different roles and access control
Deployment/Migration of application into different environments Dev, Test and Production environments for Essbase, Hyperion Planning (EPMA and Classic), Hyperion Shared Services and Financial Reporting.
Experience on ETL for OLAP (ODI, FDM, Fact tables, Dimensional tables, data reconciliations, outline refresh automation, SSIS, Essbase Studio)
Knowledge on installation and Configuration of Hyperion Planning application, server settings, client and server installation of Hyperion Products
Degree in Information Technology.
A degree in Financial Management and/or CPA certifications would be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years development & implementation experience in Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion) or Business Intelligence solutions.
Strong technical and functional skills.
Must have completed at least 2 full cycles of EPM/BI project implementations.
