  Job Description
  Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Serve as an identity management/identity lifecycle management/user access recertification expert in IAM

• Manage projects from inception to successful completion; leading the orderly progression of projects from the proposal stage through project completion by interacting with administrators, IT staff, etc.

• Advise on and communicate about IAM security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff as needed

• Research, design, and advocate new IAM technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security requirements

• Coordinate with stakeholders and technologists to define agreed upon project scope, outcomes, requirements, schedule, and resources; develop actionable program plans and program artifacts; identify, manage and escalate, as appropriate, program risks, issues, and roadblocks to timely delivery.

• Lead Change, acting as change agent use skills and expertise to inspire a shared purpose of intent, drive program awareness, communications, documentation, and training, while ensuring effective transition into operations.

• Manage resources, scope, prioritization, work-plans and the investigation of future enhancements

• Develop and implement program communications framework to ensure well-informed stakeholders, end-users, and technical staff.

• Coordinate with key stakeholders

o Organizing and leading meetings to coordinate for program success

o Liaising with stakeholders and vendors to lead discovery of both technical and non-technical solutions to meet requirements.

o Overseeing development and testing of implementation



Typical Core Duties:

• Serve as an identity management/identity lifecycle management/user access recertification expert in IAM

• Lead design and development of logical and physical data models to support business requirements

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security strategy and architecture

• Analyze business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks

• Partner with developer resources/implementation partner to define a future state

• Perform unit, system and integration testing

• Participate in production support as needed

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting; prepare specialized and ad hoc reports

• Advise on and communicate about IAM security risks and solutions to IT staff as needed

• Research, design, and advocate new IAM technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of eight to ten years’ post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience

• Familiarity with identity management, user access recertification, user authentication, authorization, etc.

• Experience with Agile & SCRUM

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and cultivate strong relationships and work effectively with diverse groups, including education and non-education personnel, internal and external to organization

• Demonstrated "can do" work ethic coupled with the ability to overcome ambiguously or under-defined problems, simplify and clarify objectives, and lead team to successful outcomes

• High level of energy, determination, and perseverance, to act as an agent of change in a complex and demanding organization

• Familiarity or experience with IAM Technologies like SailPoint; experience working at a bank or demonstrated ability to deliver results in financial institution plus knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced excel skills.
