An IT developer in the team contributes by developing and maintaining various systems and handling integrations between core systems and remaining part of Topdanmarks system environment.

The IT developer will be working with developing and maintaining the current platform and integrations as well as developing the new functionality and integrations which we are building from scratch. So, you will have a great opportunity to put your own thoughts and ideas into this new solution.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, i.e from requirements gathering, through specification and coding to testing and support.
Understand and question the actual business requirement and existing system to develop the smartest solution.
Design, build, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
5+ years of experience in Software Development.
Proven hands-on experience in JAVA 8/EE development.
Technically skilled and able to work in API architecture and REST services / JSON (Understanding integration patterns).
Prior experience with Eclipse or Spring.
Experience with JPA.
Familiar with Git/Github.
Worked in Agile / Scrum setup. Knowledge and experience about agile development and working in a scrum team.
Hands on experience in designing and developing applications and integrations using Java platforms.
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Knowledge of Relational Databases.
Good to Have:
Experience with WSO2.
Experience with Web Services SOAP / XML.
Hands on experience in Jenkins.
Exposed to Angular.
Experience with Wildfly Mulesoft ESB.
Familiar with Apache Camel / Apache Maven.
Solution architecture exposure and knows how to design great services and solutions.
Agile mind set and knowledge of agile processes (Scrum).
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Strong communication skills are required to communicate with team members, stakeholders, and end users.

Within the initial 2 months you will be required to travel to Denmark, Copenhagen for 2 months to get introduced to the existing applications and your team members in Denmark.
You may also be required to travel to Copenhagen from time to time depending on your project requirement.
