Job Description

  • Ensure that a marketing and partnership strategy and activities are in place to support the sales & business teams in achieving their yearly targets.
  • Drive successful implementation of marketing strategy, supporting initiatives and special projects.
  • Support the team in all marketing, public relations and other communications aspects.
  • Support the sales teams on sales initiatives to clients and prospects, including design and implementation of experiences, events, benefits and other activities as appropriate.
  • Support issues & crisis management efforts related to marketing, partnership and communications of the business.
  • Implement activities on agreed timelines and within set budgets.
  • Manage partners, vendors and agencies.
  • Be a strong ambassador for the organisation internally and externally.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all client and sales force marketing and communications initiatives in support of the business development goals.
  • Work closely with sales teams (both business development and account management), concierge operations, finance, partnership development, commercial desk, operations and product teams to drive client marketing activities and materials development via events, web sites, digital campaigns, collaterals, trade fairs and conferences directly and in collaboration with sales team to reinforce value propositions.
  • Be the gatekeeper of all marketing and press materials and ensure that the highest editorial standards are adhered to at all times. Support any public relations including positioning senior executives in high-profile speaking roles, developing programs to generate interest from media, create opportunities to demonstrate thought leadership and propagate the organisations agenda in key strategic media.
  • Management & accountability of the Aspire brand including guidelines, brand standards, language variations & driving the brand awareness/profile/SEO rankings and protecting brand integrity.
  • Management & co-ordination of all media events

  • University graduate, preferably in business studies, marketing or communications
  • Strong marketing skills 8+ years experience, ideally in the B2B space/professional services or solutions-based.
  • At least 8 years direct experience in developing and executing direct clients communication activities including digital and print campaigns, promotions, seminars, events and conferences.
  • Existing contacts and network with key partners e.g. hotels, ticketing companies, luxury companies, etc would be a significant advantage.
  • Successful experience in working in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated impeccable oral and written English communication skills.
  • Must have international experience or exposure and ability to work with professionals at country, regional and global levels. Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where consensus is the norm.
  • Strong influencing skills (impact and influence) at all levels and networking ability, diplomacy and confidence with senior decision makers.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully initiate and manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive change.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with the experience to develop products by adopting a consultative approach with the content expert.
