Roles & Responsibilities
The Merchant Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for acquiring new merchants and partners to be onboarded to the Boost Mobile Application by Axiata, which essentially is digital payment provider or wallet, and provides a payment experience for customers, to pay, send/request money, for a range of different types of products, services. Some of these services including bills & payments, prepaid top up, movie tickets, food, online shopping, transport and even parking.
The Specialist will acquire Merchants primarily by outbound call calling and may also be required to travel within Malaysia for face to face onboarding, in order to meet monthly targets.

responsible to:
• Make outbound calls to potential Merchants across Malaysia and convince them to be onboarded to the Platform.
• Be the main contact point of the merchants throughout the acquisition process until the Merchant is onboarded.
• Ensure a seamless Merchant experience throughout the entire onboarding process and provide the highest level of satisfaction and quality
• Communicate effectively and professionally at a professional level.
• Track and Maintain interactions in the CRM system and ensure full compliance and accuracy
• Follow all procedures, policies and guidelines throughout.
Requirement:
 Minimum Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
 Fresh Graduates are welcome, Preferred experience of 6 months to 1 year in Merchant Onboarding, Acquisition, or related outbound telemarketing activities.
 Prior experience and proven outcomes are advantageous
 Excellent communication skills both verbal
 and written in local language and English. (Malay and/or Chinese)
 Have good interpersonal and team-working skills, allowing them to engage positively with all members of their team and provide leadership and support, where required.
 Goal oriented and innovative
 Be professional and cooperative, to ensure an effective working partnership with Stakeholders, subject specialists and staff.
 Have excellent organizational and administrative skills (including attention to detail).
 Have good presentation skills and able to sell themselves well
