Job Description

 Provide helpdesk support for troubleshooting, monitoring and support all IT system

 Communicate with supplier for hardware maintenance

 Giving support to 4 plants of Amtek Batam

 Good to have some SAP level 1 knowledge

 To assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon

 To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system

 To install and configure new IT equipment and resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware

 To resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners & Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required

 Maintain excellent verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization

 Provide onsite support for all the Desktops/Laptops/printers/Servers and peripherals such as mouse, keyboard etc. and provide support for data room present in the client location while shall also assist in end user activities like image management, application packaging, exchange and patching of end user devices

 Manage End User equipment stocks when required

 Local support to Server equipment that cannot perform remotely (Example: Tape handling etc.)

 Local support to Network equipment that cannot perform remotely (Example: Network switch reset etc.)

 Provide VIP Support when required

 Support of simple activities and tasks, for example pack and unpack of PCs

 Support project work to develop technical solutions (for example rollout), reporting and present progress of project work (effort, status, meetings etc.) to project leads

 Perform install and configuration activities and tasks of system components and complex networks

 Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications

 Provides follow-up on problems or escalation

 Provides call taking and site specific support (DTS and Legacy)

 Be willing to attend internal training as necessary to keep up to date with the latest technology and internal system processes

Experience/ Knowledge:

• 2 - 5 years’ experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery

• Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.

• Experience of working with 3rd party service providers as a proactive team player

• Experience of working in Microsoft Windows Server, MAC OS

• Experience of working in Active Directory (Design, Security and Administration) and Messaging (MS Exchange, Archiving, Unified Communications)

• Experience of working in Networking technologies and concepts. Good understanding of Virtualization

• Good understanding of IT security and Data protection

• OEM certifications (Dell, Compaq, HP, etc.), other certifications and/or training/A+ Certification will be an added advantage


1. Minimal Diploma in Information Technology or computer science

2. Having basic knowledge for Computer hardware and networking

3. Good Attitude, active, discipline and hard work

4. Able to communicate in English is preferred.

5. Experience in IT Infrastructure is preferred
