Job Description
Operations Co-ordinator 

We are looking for a high calibre candidate to take up the following position:
  • Subang Jaya location 
  • Salary negotiable based on skills and experiences

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic team based in Malaysia. 
This role will see you coordinate and negotiate with internal departments and external service providers in regards to their operational & logistics requirements to ensure smooth business operations whilst also managing all relevant back office monthly invoicing and other related documentation. 

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include; 
  • Receipt orders from clients 
  • Liaise with Shipping lines / cartage providers for bookings 
  • Ensure all required Export documentation is collated 
  • Provide clients with visibility on status of their orders 
  • Monitor bookings closely to ensure containers move as booked 
  • Liaising with overseas offices via email and phone 
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. As well as this you will also possess the following attributes and skills;
  • Previous experience working within shipping & logistics coordination environment 
  • Experience Cross Trade Shipment an advantage 
  • Experience with EDI 
  • Working knowledge of general freight and logistics terminology 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills 
  • Exceptional computer literacy skills 
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a team, internal stakeholders and suppliers (locally and overseas) 
  • The willingness to think outside the box and be a team player 
  • The ability to hold yourself accountable
