Job Description
Responsibilities

Day-to-day system administration of the Collaboration Systems environment and other interconnected technologies.

Assist in the implementation of installation, upgrades and routing maintenances as required.

Proactively monitor Collaboration Systems to ensure maximum performance, efficiency and availability.

Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of corporate servers to meet business requirements.

Acting as an escalation point for Service Desk tickets.

Provide off hours support through the use of a rotating on call procedure.

Technical Requirements

Experience with large Exchange 2010+ environments.

5+ years’ experience with email administration of Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 or O365.

Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Microsoft technologies.

Migration experience including experience migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013/2016 or O365 is desirable.

Ability to manage backups and backup systems for Exchange.

Understand various access methods including POP, IMAP, EAS, OWA, MAPI, Outlook Anywhere, and SMTP mail flows.

Expertise in troubleshooting server problems with a focus on rapid resolution of any system outages.

Proficient with PowerShell and other scripting skills used to automate messaging processes and reporting.

• Knowledge of Archiving solutions like Enterprise Vault is a plus.

Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills allowing the ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to meet long-term and last-minute deadlines while working under pressure.

Ability to strictly maintain confidential data. v
