Job Description
Job Scope:

Define testing strategies including test planning for in-house web/mobile application products under the client. Define appropriate test cases and any associated test data. Execute test cases assigned within a sprint cycle. Validate test result and document any defects found. Work closely with development team on deadlines of the changes, release and production rollout.

  • Continuous learning on reliability, accessibility, security and scalability for latest technology solutions in test methodology, software & tools.
  • Ability and knowledge on structuring process from scratch, preferably open source technology 
  • Knowledge on forming a QA team. 
  • Seeks out new thinking/ emerging trends that have impact on own area. Actively seeks out the necessary knowledge and experience to perform on the job. 
  • Implementation of best practices in development methodologies to monitor, measure and performance improvement of product. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to rally and work with others in pursuit of the organization’s goals. Works well in a team as well as individually. 
  • Meticulous and pays attention to details. 

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional/Bachelor’s Degree in IT related fields of study.
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 
  • Work experience in a startup is highly preferred. 
  • Good knowledge of testing life cycle and proficient in working with test tools. 
  • Good experience with bug management tools (JIRA). 
  • Experience on test automation tool (Selenium, JMeter, SpiraTest). 
  • Experience on test scripting document. 
  • Knowledge in CI/CD, System Integration Test (SIT) & User Acceptance Test (UAT). 
  • Knowledge in programming, SQL scripting are added advantage. 
  • Achievement orientation, self-motivated.
