Responsible for the design and architecture activities across Digital Big Data solutions (specific to Hadoop), application integrations, and API interfaces. Think the bigger picture and make the right Big Data technology architecture recommendations, decisions which will deliver business impact to the Client. Drive the architecture principles for a digital world – Agile, Micro Services, Layered Architecture, Loosely Coupled, API based, Dev-Ops, Hyper-scale and ready for cloud
Evaluate vendor Big Data platform, architectures and propose the right solution that best fits Cleint’s business requirements

Define and execute our digital Big Data product and solutions roadmap. This role will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team, including technology, business team, marketing and country teams with a goal to drive Big Data digital adoption
Continually drive products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility
Own the execution of Big Data solutions and ensure that the solution works per the agreed architecture, SLAs, KPIs and business model
Identifying and defining business and operational KPIs that would help the Client to achieve Big Data goals and objectives
Recommending tools and platforms that would help implement the defined use cases
Work with the Digital Execution team to ensure that the Big Data solution is implemented and provide SME support as needed during the implementation process

12+ years of experience working in technology domain – 4+ years specific focus on Big Data Platforms – Hadoop Solution Portfolio
Strong knowledge and exposure in working on Apache Open Source Solutions which will interface with Hadoop
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Technically proficient in common cloud service-oriented platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google, others) highly desirable
Technical as well as business understanding in software architecture trade-offs
Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in English a must

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in information technology or computer science
