Job Description
QA Leadership

Proactively collaborate with product drivers and other team members in clarifying and improving product requirements.

Analyze LegalMatch’s website and other software applications from a quality perspective, looking for improvements to overall performance, usability, and stability

Plan, schedule, and perform manual tests on the company’s websites and software applications.

Team support

Proactively manage, mitigate, and/or report issues and/or quality risks

Coach and motivate QA team members, helping them grow and improve as professionals and individuals.

Lead group studies to learn new technologies and/or skill sets related to QA.

Assist in the selection of new QA Team members.

Reporting & documentation

Report on QA status as appropriate, keeping project stakeholders informed on delivery and timelines.

Document key decisions where appropriate (JIRA, Confluence).

Continuous improvement

Define and implement approved quality standards and metrics for the QA Team.

Ensure that testing and QA processes are reviewed and improved continuously.

Champion various product and process improvement initiatives, particularly those related to QA

To qualify for this position, you must have experience in the following:

• manual and automation testing (5+ years in senior capacity)

• development and execution of test plans and scenarios

• Selenium and other testing tools (hands-on)

• testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms

• source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.

• agile framework

• In addition, you must also have:

• an eye for detail

• excellent writing and verbal communication skills

• vast knowledge in testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for testing, verification, and validation techniques
