As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.
Create technical design specifications based on functional designs
Convert design specifications into high quality working code within allocated budget and time frame
Conduct code review of programs written by peers
Perform unit and system integration testing
Resolve system bugs and errors identified during all phases of testing
Resolve service requests raised by customers according to defined processes and within set timeframe
Ensure quality of deliverables by adhering to project standards
Coordinate with teammates and other teams in resolving issues
Provide regular status reports
At least 5 years of software development/programming experience using either JAVA or .NET platform
Ability to read and understand data models
Knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodology
