The incumbent is responsible in particular Data Center Infrastructure solution development.
To establish the requirements study and assessments with clients, to identify their business process improvement needed and technical requirements an recommend the suitable technical solutions to support the business goal, at a competitive price.
Major areas of job focus will be on pre-sales technical solution, especially for submitting proposals and tenders.
The incumbent is also expected to keep abreast of rapid Technology and industry changes and development in the area of Data Center Infrastructure.
Leading and advising the solution consultants in designing, architecting, and recommending the best suit solution based on the customers’ requirement financially and technically, that result in customers’ buying decision.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct requirement study and assessment with customers to identify solution requirement mainly on Data Center Infrastructure.
Produce the solution requirement proposal and present the proposed solution to the customers.
Conduct solution briefing for the accepted proposed solution to the assigned project manager and strategize the implementation plan.
Involved in the maintenance and enhancement of existing operational systems.
Responsible in preparing customer technical proposal from the conceptual to pre-implementation stage.
Consult the acquisition/sales team in meeting the customers for understanding of their requirement.
Responsible to support acquisition / sales team relating to required services such as proposal, tender response and costing.
Present the technical solutions to customers.
Liaise with various technology vendors to ensure that the proposed solutions are workable and at competitive price.
Negotiate the pricing quoted by M&E Vendors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest Data Center Infrastructure enhancement and development.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant degree.
Previous working experience in similar position is preferred, but not necessary.
3 - 5 years of experience in Data Center Infrastructure works
