Solutions Consultant

Job Description
  • The primary purpose of the pre-sales consultant is to demonstrate the value of company’s products to prospect customers and construct the most appealing (technical) offer.
  • The pre-sales consultant supports the sales team during the sales cycle, aspiring to maximize value perceived and consequent sale price. The pre-sales consultant directly supports a quota and is compensated accordingly. 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer requirements by communicating with the sales team and learning the customer’s system
  • Tailor technical presentations to prove the benefit of company products to prospect customers
  • Design, develop and deliver high quality Proof of Concept solutions that customers understand, add value to the opportunity, and ensure our solutions are deliverable in the customers' environments
  • Increase the value of opportunities by looking for customer pain points' and selling benefits of the solution through product knowledge
  • Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations to audiences including around document and transactional processing to improve customer efficiency
Position Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge and experience of ERPs (Dynamics AX/365 a plus)
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Ability to influence / negotiate
  • Proven customer facing experience
  • Experience of presenting solutions to business decision maker
  • Enthusiasm and personal drive
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated but team player
  • Previous experience in a presales is a plus
  • Willing to travel: 40%
