We are currently assisting Adform to set up a world-class development team in Malaysia, consisting of an initial deployment of Technical Leads, Senior Software Engineers and QA Engineers.
We are now looking for a qualified Team Manager to manage and coordinate activities of a software engineering team including delivery management and resource management. It is expected that you should have demonstrable history of building great performing teams and providing an uplifting and fun environment. You will need to be a natural leader who is driven and above all passionate about your work, with high standards as normality. It goes without saying that you’ll need great mediation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and build and influence relationships. You will be working in a cross functional, agile team, with world-class engineers, product managers and leaders located in multiple locations and in Kuala Lumpur.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Enable a direction to the team through guidance and support ensuring delivery of a product and services according to the agreed Roadmap
Make sure quality metrics are matched
Facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team, report or facilitate impediment resolution in a timely manner
Caring about and evangelizing the best practices to be followed while creating products and services
Create and mediate environment to establish transparency and information flow within team
Collect necessary data, calculate agreed metrics and prepare regular cadence reports for senior management
Hire good engineers and ensure that people are motivated, engaged and collaborate cross – organization
Guide employees in professional growth and career development
Advocate Adform DNA (values) and development culture
Control operational expenses for the team/s (examples: business trips, education, offsites, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience preferred
10+ years overall IT/software development experience.
Strong experience in software development/application development cycle
2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading the scrum process, including evaluation and continuous improvement (addressing impediments)
Must possess excellent leadership skills – minimum of 2+ year work experience in a leadership role
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in tracking multiple ongoing initiatives in parallel (iteration backlog and dependencies from / for the other teams
Hands-on experience in agile estimation practices
Hands-on experience in release planning practices
Basic understanding of risk management process and its real-life implementation
Focused on result and value delivery
Experience recruiting high-performing engineers
Experience performing regular performance reviews or similar types of employee assessments
Technical acumen is a strong plus (ex.: experience in working with data driven solutions)
Ability to get down and dirty with code or architecture are great it is not a requirement.
Previous hands-on technical experience would be enough while the ability to drive the right decisions through intelligent questioning, are required.

Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
