The regional CFO team is responsible for providing technical accounting to the life and non-life business in the APAC region. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to strengthen our team in this interesting environment. The role entails a broad range of responsibilities and offers many development opportunities and will be reporting to the Head of Regional Middle Office Center – Asia and is located in Singapore.
Effectively and efficiently handle a reinsurance accounting and claims portfolio;
Perform credit control activities and follow-ups on clients within own portfolio;
Interacts with internal and external clients to successfully bring reinsurance accounting and claim matters to conclusion;
Point of contact for external clients (insurers, reinsurance brokers, auditors, etc.);
Monitor the relevant key performance indicators within your area of responsibility;
Maintain adequate documentation of internal processes and ensure compliance with internal guidelines;
Support in the quarterly close off checks (ageing, outstanding statement of accounts, etc.)
Graduate (in finance, accounting, insurance, business, mathematics, law, etc.);
At least 2-3 years’ experience within the insurance or reinsurance sector; Big 4 candidates with strong insurance knowledge are welcome to apply
Good insurance accounting and claims handling knowledge (preferred);
Good mastery of FSRI/FSCD (SAP) and Business Object;
Client-centric, strong willingness to learn and result-oriented;
Comfortable in MS Excel and good IT skills;
Good communication skills (writing and spoken) – full professional proficiency in Mandarin and/or Korean language would be an advantage;
Meticulous and self-disciplined;
Driven, able to work independently in an efficient manner and keen to take on new responsibilities;
Excellent team-player with the ability and readiness to share knowledge with colleagues

Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
