As a Technical Support Specialist with CareFusion, you will be responsible to provide a world-class customer support experience to our customers who deliver healthcare from the hospital pharmacy to the nursing floor. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about problem solving, technology, and helping others.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Provide multi-channel technical support to customers including telephone and on-line service requests

- Document details of each support request in CareFusion CRM system

- Maintain timely and routine communication with customer on progress of work

- Manage service requests queue with the ability to recognize high priority problems and act quickly

- Analyze each support request for root cause; determine if the issue could be prevented by changes in the product or business processes

- Remotely connect to customers' systems to solve issue if possible

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years experience providing software support in a customer facing role

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both non-technical users and highly technical users

- Positive, proactive customer service attitude and in-depth problem skills

- Working knowledge in the following technology areas:

Active Directory

- Proficient with Windows 7 and Windows XP

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

- Virtual infrastructure environment (VMware, etc) is a plus

- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus


Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer hardware/software technology or equivalent experience
