Job Description
Position: Merchant Acquisition Specialist(telesales/ telemarketing)
Location : KL , Sentral
Mode: Permanent
Shifts: Normal
Budget: decent hike on current salary

Merchant Acquisition Specialist:
The Merchant Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for acquiring new merchants and partners to be onboarded to the Mobile Payment Application by Client A, which essentially is digital payment provider or wallet, and provides a payment experience for customers, to pay, send/request money, for a range of different types of products, services. Some of these services including bills & payments, prepaid top up, movie tickets, food, online shopping, transport and even parking.
The Specialist will acquire Merchants primarily by outbound call calling and may also be required to travel within Malaysia for face to face onboarding, in order to meet monthly targets.

Responsibilities / Activity:

• Merchant Acquisition and Onboarding-60%
• Administrative and Database Management-20%
• Travel//Meetings/Adhoc tasks-20%

Requirements:

 Minimum Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
 Minimum 1 year in Merchant On boarding, Acquisition, or related outbound telemarketing activities. 2-3 years is preferred.
 Prior B2B Sales experience with proven outcomes is advantageous
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and a local language.
 Have excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, allowing them to engage positively with all members of their team and provide leadership and support, where required.
 Goal oriented, innovative and passionate about selling.
 Be professional and cooperative, to ensure an effective working partnership with Stakeholders, subject specialists and staff.
 Have excellent organizational and administrative skills (including attention to detail).
 Have great presentation skills and able to sell themselves well.
 Able to handle objections well
