Involve in analysis, design, documentation, coding and testing of our internal developed application. Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining in house developed applications. Software developer who can code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems applications
Participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
Ensure proper process workflow is followed in accordance with internal controls, compliance and audit requirements. Able to identify the gaps and bridge them.
Analyze the requirements and provide effort estimates for the development tasks, Preparation of detailed execution document with phased delivery.
User coordination in various stages of the execution, development, UAT, Sign Off, Support etc.
Participate in the prioritization meeting with
Business for regular software upgrades, patches and hotfix, defect fixes and enhancements.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have 5- 8 years of working experience in application development and support in an Asset Management/Investment Banking business
Knowledge of Microsoft office SharePoint Server 2010 (Site administration and development) is a must.
Good knowledge in PowerShell and batch scripting.
Experience using Oracle 12c, SQL Server 2008 or above.
Good knowledge of tools such as Remedy, Confluence, Jira, and Control-M scheduler
Knowledge of IT Service Management
Frameworks and Standards (e.g. CMMI, ITIL).
Knowledge of investment markets, instruments (e.g. Equities / Fixed Income / Derivatives / Options) and business operations (e.g. Trade Lifecycle & Reconciliation / Performance & Attribution / Fund Accounting / Compliance monitoring).
A good understanding of asset management front, middle and corporate business operations, its associated processes, systems, controls and deliverables.
