Job Description:

Role: Wintel / Windows Engineer

Experience: 5 -12 years

Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor



Job Scope

Assist Business unit and application team to perform server migration from Windows 2008 Server platform to Windows 2012 Server platform. Eg: Data migration and cutover of application to newer platform. Troubleshoot OS related issue during migration.

Key Accountabilities

Assist project manager to coordinate, plan, implement and execute all requires steps from Windows OS. Complete all server cutover aligned with project planned.

Provide technical advice to project manager and application team for any issue foresee during migration. Eg: Permission, access and remediation requirement to work perfect on the new OS.

Experience Require:

L3 level or more than 5 years’ experience in supporting Windows OS – 2008 and 2012

L3 level of Migration experience in transition and transformation for W2K8 exit (Upgrade to W2K12 OS)

L2 level of Web (IIS), Database (SQL)

Competencies:

Experience and skill in performing Windows OS upgrade – Windows 2008, 2012 Server

Transition and transformation of existing windows platform to newer platform 2012

Level 1, 2 level on MS IIS
