Job Description
We are looking for experienced Senior Network Administrator who will support a European market leader in the laboratory diagnostics sector, which has been operating within a strong inter¬national network of laboratory doctors and specialists since 2010. Approximately 20,000 employees in 35 countries dedicate their efforts in laboratory diagnostics to human and veterinary medicine as well as to services in environmental analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for designing, installation, integration and expansion of organization's IT network 
  • Provide remote administration, pro-active monitoring and system maintenance on the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) 
  • Analyze and resolve issues on a 24/7 basis and maximize network performance 
  • Be the escalation point for complex network issues in the Global Operations Center 
  • Drive automation in the network operations 
  • Maintain network security and protect against security risks, apply security fixes, and monitor system activity. 
  • Ensure system compliance with organization's security and privacy policies and other regulations such as NIST 800-171, HIPAA, GDPR, etc. 
  • Manage technical projects and provide expert consulting on technical initiatives 
  • Proactively assist the Service Delivery Manager in service planning 
  • Influence work priorities, technical decisions, and operating procedures at the team or project level 
  • Closely collaborate with other infrastructure support teams 
  • Document work, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief team members 
  • Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current duties, through on the job experience, self-directed research or formal training 
Qualifications: 
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 
  • At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience IT Network administration in a global environment 
  • Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. 
  • Hands on experience on Cisco switching platforms and Cisco routing platforms 
  • Hands on experience on Avaya switching platforms 
  • Hands on experience on Cisco Meraki access points 
  • Hands on experience on Fortinet firewall platforms 
  • In-depth expert knowledge of routing protocols, firewall, VPN, SSL VPN concepts 
  • In-depth expert knowledge of VLAN concepts 
  • Ability to handle complex network issues independently 
  • Ability to lead and drive multiple SMEs from different domains and locations 
  • Experience in automating repeatable tasks 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong documentation skills 
  • Passion towards new trends in technology 
  • CIsco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required 
  • Work in shifts and takes part in the on-call duty
